Dishwasher not starting
If the control lights are on but nothing happens, the culprit may be a door latch microswitch, blown thermal fuse, or a user interface (touchpad) lock that’s engaged. On models that are completely dead, we check line voltage at the junction box, verify control board power output, and inspect the selector keypad ribbon for corrosion.
We also test the float switch; if it’s stuck “full,” the unit won’t fill or start.
Water not draining
Standing water usually traces back to a clogged filter, blocked check valve, or debris in the drain pump impeller. We clear the sump, confirm the drain hose high loop (or air gap) is correct, and run the pump in service mode to verify current draw. If the pump hums but won’t move water, the motor windings may be failing or the impeller is seized.

Leaking water

Making unusual noises
